Signs of Spiritual Awakening

When you do activities towards spirituality,it is common that you are with curiosity. One of the stage of your progress is your Spiritual Awakening. When you know the Signs,it is easy to understand what is going on and what to do next.

You open your eyes and started looking around. Everything seems to be in the same order as you left it a while ago but there seems to be something different. As you slowly stretched your arms and legs, you have this feeling of a relaxed or calm disposition. You feel refreshed, energized and, well, happy. It was a good meditation session. But sometimes you ask yourself what is a real spiritual awakening and if I have already attained such an experience. Some would argue that the experience of spiritual enlightenment is so profound and life changing that it is just impossible to miss. Still, when one achieves spiritual awakening, knowing the signs might help them realize that they are already in the place. Spiritual awakening is not a constant thing, I can come and go. Thus it could actually be better if you know if you’re getting closer in achieving it or not.

Now, if we base our definition to the Buddhist and Christian approaches, we have a spiritual awakening rooted on the enlightenment or awakening of the consciousness and knowing their true or their original self. It is a higher form of awareness where the consciousness is able to see past the more obvious physical self. It is being aware, sensing and feeling one’s very existence that accounts for a spiritual awakening.

Perhaps among the more obvious signs of enlightenment is having a certain level of calmness. People who have awakened spirits have proven to be more focused in attaining their goals. They seem to have reached a degree of calmness where experiences, memories, events, issues, problems, and even desires are no longer causing confusion and interruptions. It is like, every distraction have been set aside and stored away resulting to a having a clear path from the start to the finish line. And just like the song: “I can see clearly now, the rain is gone, I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind.”

Among the signs of spiritual awakening is having self control. When one reaches the level of spiritual enlightenment, he not only exercises free will but knows what bad things need to be cast aside and choose only the right path based on proper wisdom and good judgment. Those that offer temporary pleasures are no longer entertained since these acts or things often lead to suffering in the long run and only provide momentary and earthly happiness.

Humility and selfless love are other signs of an awakened spirit. Part of having an awakened spirit is the eagerness to learn, understand, and work for the well being of not only one’s self but of others as well. Pride and arrogance are not really marks of a good person to begin with what more a person with an awakened spirit. The same thing goes with unconditional love. With an awakened spirit, people will begin living in harmony with both nature and other people. Compassion and love would be equal regardless of race, nationality, culture, and the like.

Genuine happiness, non-attachment, having the right intuition and feelings of non-attachment are other signs of spiritual awakening. If you find any of these signs present in you when and after you accomplished a session meditating, it would be prudent to ask consider that you have actually experienced this deep, philosophical enlightenment.

Easy Tips to Get Rid of Warts

Warts are very common and virtually everyone will experience them at some point in their life. They are very contagious. This is why these are spread by person to person contact. And although they are painless, unless they are on the soles of your feet, their dark appearance can be felt to be unsightly.

But the good news is that warts are harmless enough and normally disappear by themselves within a couple of years.

1.Place a duct tape over a wart

Interestingly, placing duct tape over a wart may help it disappear. A small study had people wear duct tape for six straight days, remove it, wet and scrape the wart down using a file, and then reapply the tape the next morning. This was done until the wart disappeared, for no longer than two months. The people wearing the duct tape had as much luck getting rid of the warts as those who had warts frozen off by a doctor. This method might be worth a try if you have a painless, yet unsightly wart. If there is pain there, you may not want to try the duct tape. You may want to wait until you have gone to seen a doctor about it. Because if there is pain there, it could be infected or something else. You need to contact a doctor to be on the safe side.

Although treatment is not needed for most warts, and the wart itself will clear up in time, some people do feel the need to remove these unsightly growths. Plus, one of the other reasons people get them treated is because treatment helps to prevent warts from spreading to other parts of your body and also to other people.  There are various types of treatment, and they generally involve the physical or chemical destruction of the lesion.

2. Get your Doctor's Advice

Medical professionals have differing treatments they can offer, and these include Keratolysis which is removal of dead surface skin cells usually using salicylic acid, blistering agents, immune system modifiers or formaldehyde.

3. Over-the-counter medications

Over-the-counter medications can remove warts. These are applied to the wart every day for several weeks. DO NOT use these medications on your face or genitals. It helps to file the wart down when damp (for example, after a bath or shower) before applying these medications.  There are many options you can use to remove warts. Over the counter and going to your doctor. It is up to you on how you want to go about getting them removed.

So, whilst warts are very common and most people will experience them at some point in their lifetime, and they are caused by a viral infection they are generally harmless and will disappear in a couple of years. And even though warts are actually benign tumour's of the epidermis caused by a virus it is nothing to worry about. And bear in mind that warts are highly contagious, and if you do get one it has probably been transmitted from person-to-person contact.
